Senior Hydraulic Test Technician
Location: Near Southam, Warwickshire - easily reachable from Leamington Spa, Warwick, South Coventry, Banbury and surrounding areas.
Salary: £40,000 - £42,000
Hours:
• Monday - Thursday: 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM
• Friday: 8:30 AM - 4:00 PM
Overview
Do you have experience testing hydraulic manifold assemblies and cartridge valves - working to set test procedures using test rigs and hydraulic circuits?
Maybe repairing and testing customer returns? (taking apart cartridges, valves and assemblies etc) or testing to data sheets or test specs.
Can you read drawings/ schematics?

Key Responsibilities
• Conduct comprehensive testing of hydraulic manifold assemblies and cartridge valves according to precise test procedures.
• Dismantle, inspect, and test returned customer products, such as cartridges, valves, and assemblies.
• Interpret and work from detailed hydraulic drawings and schematics.
• Supervise and guide junior team members during testing processes.
• Collaborate with the Engineering Manager to develop and execute test plans, devise tests for complex hydraulic schematics and write test procedures for team use.
Qualifications and Skills
• Proven experience in testing hydraulic systems and components is essential.
• Ability to read and understand hydraulic drawings and circuits.
• Strong understanding of quality control practices.
• Methodical, organized, and detail-oriented approach to work.
• Full driving license is required.
